4 Days New Years in Morocco

DAY 30 DECEMBER: MARRAKECH - OUARZAZATE - DADES VALLEY :

We will pick you up from your accommodation and begin our adventure of 4 days new years in Morocco to Dades. After crossing the Tizi’nTichka door (or port of Tichka), that’s Morocco’s highest road. Following the stop, we will continue our journey over one of Morocco’s most beautiful and unknown routes, passing through the Atlas Mountains and their breathtaking scenery.

When we arrive in Ouarzazate, we will have a panoramic tour of the city and visit the Kasbah Taourirt. The house of the Pasha Glaoui in the past. Of course, a visit to its main rooms, where the one that stands out because it is worth it, with stunning views of the valley, is a must. Then we’ll head to the Dades Valley, passing through towns like Skoura and Kelaa M’Gouna, which are known for their rose-based products. Dinner and lodging are provided in Dades.

DAY 31 DECEMBER: DADES - GORGES OF TODRA - DUNES OF MERZOUGA :

Breakfast. Departure on the road, passing via the Thousand Kasbahs route and stopping at the Todra Gorges to take in the landscape. Later, we will go to the south, passing through tiny towns such as Tinejdad, EL Jarf, and Erfoud before arriving at Rissani, a little town with a bustling medina that is rarely visited by tourists and where the nomads of the region come to stock up.

The journey to Merzouga on this 4 days new years in Morocco continues. We’ll change modes of transportation in the Sahara Desert. We’re going to meet some dromedaries. They are better suited to the desert, and we will travel through the dunes with them to see the sunset. Then it’s on to the dunes’ camp. We’ll ring in the New Year by gathering around a fire under the stars tonight. Dinner and lodging in a Berber Camp.

DAY 1 JANUARY: MERZOUGA DUNES - ALNIF - AGDZ- OUARZAZATE :

To have a one-of-a-kind experience, those who seek to witness a one-of-a-kind spectacle, sunrise, a light, and silent show that will astound us, first thing in the morning. Following a light breakfast. We’ll get back in our 4×4 and head back to Ouarzazate, passing through some beautiful desert landscapes on our way to the Draa Valley’s enormous palm grove. With a length of more than 150 kilometers, it is Africa’s longest palm grove. We’ll turn north at this point, ascending the palm grove to Ouarzazate, where we’ll spend the night. In Ouarzazate, dinner and lodging are included on this 3rd day of 4 days new years in Morocco

DAY 2 JANUARY: OUARZAZATE - AIT BEN HADDOU - MARRAKECH :

Before returning to Marrakech, we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou after breakfast. It is the most spectacular ksar (Kasbah) in the Moroccan south and the setting for numerous film projects, having been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The High Atlas can be seen in the backdrop in this panoramic image of the region. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon and spend the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Our services have come to a close. (You will be dropped off at Djemaa el Fna Square or as close to your lodging as possible.) Please be aware that if you are staying in a Riad within the medina, you will not be able to be dropped off at the door. If you want a cart to take you to your Riad, it will cost you between € 2 and € 5, which you must pay.
